Cora Howe Exceptional School (formerly Madison School) is a special day school for those students whose learning and behavioral differences are so significant that they have struggled with learning within the context of a less-restrictive environment. Students are referred to Cora Howe from throughout the district through Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team meetings. Cora Howe students have access to a variety of services and professionals to help them achieve academic, behavioral, and social success. Cora Howe's unique students are nurtured and guided by caring teachers. The faculty members at Cora Howe are very knowledgeable and highly qualified. The entire staff is very successful in creating individualized, standards-based programs for all students. Cora Howe students excel in many areas which is a testament to the faculty, staff, and families of the school community.
